Dear Satoshi Nakamoto,

I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my admiration for your groundbreaking work in developing Bitcoin. Your creation has revolutionized the world of finance and opened up new possibilities for peer-to-peer transactions.

However, as the use of Bitcoin becomes more widespread, I have come to the conclusion that it may not be the ideal solution for the masses. The lack of privacy and anonymity can leave users vulnerable to surveillance and cyber attacks.

That’s why I wanted to bring to your attention an exciting development in the world of cryptocurrency: Zcash. By utilizing zero knowledge proofs, Zcash offers users the ability to transact with complete privacy and security. Judging by what you wrote in the bitcoin forums, I believe this is the original vision you had for Bitcoin.

Zcash offers a solution that protects people from a potential Orwellian nightmare. As our world becomes more and more connected, it’s essential that we have options that prioritize privacy and security.

Just how web 1 evolved from HTTP protocol to HTTPS, I think web 3 can evolve from bitcoin to Zcash.

I wanted to thank you again for your incredible contributions to the world of cryptocurrency. Your work has inspired countless individuals to strive for a more decentralized and equitable future.

Sincerely,

Thor Torrens
